This privacy policy describes UGreekRow’s use and sharing of your personally identifiable information ("PII"), including your full name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, or credit card number. Members and Visitors may voluntarily provide this information to UGreekRow when they register. This privacy policy applies to any services provided by , including any UGreekRow-branded url (the UGreekRow website). UGreekRow Services are hosted in the United States. UGreekRow website would not knowingly collect any PII from children under 17 years of age.

Collection and Submission

When UGreekRow collects PII from you, it is because you are voluntarily submitting PII to us in order to register as a Member of UGreekRow. UGreekRow may also collect PII from you if you choose to participate in any UGreekRow additional activities, which may be offered by .

In addition, UGreekRow collects other non-PII information, including IP address, aggregate user data, and browser type. This data is used to manage and improve the UGreekRow Services, track usage and for security purposes.

UGreekRow Members may also choose to provide or store non-PII in their profiles, including but not limited to date of birth, interests, hobbies, lifestyle choices, groups with who they are affiliated, videos and/or pictures. The Profile information is provided at his or her sole discretion.

Cookies are small bits of information that UGreekRow places on your computer. UGreekRow uses cookies to identify your Internet browser, store user preferences, and determine whether you have enabling software needed to access certain material on UGreekRow Services. Data in cookies may be read to authenticate user sessions or provide services.

Third Party advertisements displayed on UGreekRow Services may also contain cookies. UGreekRow does not control these third party cookies and Members should check out the privacy policies of the third party advertiser to see how and whether it uses cookies. A pixel tag is a tiny image inserted in a webpage and used to record the number and types f view for that page. UGreekRow may allow third party pixel tags to be present on UGreekRow website for the purposes of advertising, providing services or data and statistics collection.

You can program your computer to warn you each time a cookie is being sent, block third party cookies, or block all cookies. However, by blocking all cookies, you may not have access to certain features on UGreekRow Services.

When a Member who is located in the European Union chooses to post Profile Information that will publicly disclosed that Member is responsible for ensuring that such information conforms to all local data protection laws. UGreekRow is not responsible under EU local data protection laws for Member-posted information.

Informed Consent

When you voluntarily provide PII to UGreekRow, we will make sure that you are informed about who is collecting the information, how and why the information is being collected and the types of use that UGreekRow will make of the information to the extent that is being used in a matter that differs what is allowed pursuant to this Privacy Policy.

Except for the specific exceptions stated later in this paragraph, UGreekRow does not and will not sell or share your PII to third parties unless explicitly authorized by the Member to do so. However, UGreekRow may disclose your PII in order to comply with a court order or subpoena or request from a law enforcement agency to release information, to investigate, prevent, or other wise take action regarding suspected illegal activity or fraud, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of UGreekRow.com, its Members, and the public.

UGreekRow may use cookies and similar tools to customize the content and advertising you receive based upon the Profile Information you have provided. Profile Information you provide in structured profile fields or questions (multiple choice questions like “Marital Status,” “Education,” “Children,” and “Organizations,”) and Profile Information you have provided in open-ended profile fields (essay questions like “About Me,” “Interests,” and “Movies”) and other non-PII about you may also be used to customize the online ads you encounter to those we believe are aligned with your interests. For example, based upon your career goals we might display an advertisement to make sure you are advised of graduate schools and/or prospective jobs in your field. The information used for this feature does not provide you PII or identify you as an individual to third parties.

In order to locate other UGreekRow Members that you may already know in the physical world, UGreekRow allows Members to search among other Members using registration PII (i.e. full name, or email address). UGreekRow also allows Members to use certain Profile information in order to connect with Other Members (i.e. organizations and schools).

UGreekRow employees, agents and contractors shall have a business reasons to obtain access to your PII. UGreekRow may share you PII with those who help us manage or provide UGreekRow Services’ information activities (for example, message board administration, contests, order fulfillment, statistical analyses, data processing). These outside contractors, agents, or sponsors may temporarily store some information on their servers, but they may only use your PII to provide UGreekRow with a specific service and not for any other purpose. UGreekRow may also provide your PII to a third party in those instances where you have chosen to receive certain information and have been advised that the fulfillment of such a request requires the sharing of your PII.

Release of PII Without Consent

There may be instances when UGreekRow may access or disclose your PII, Profile Information, or non-PII without providing you a choice in order to

  • protect or defend the legal rights or property of UGreekRow or Affiliated Companies or the employees, agents and contractors of UGreekRow or Affiliated Companies;
  • protect the safety and security of the Members of UGreekRow or the members of the public;
  • protect against fraud or for risk management purposes;
  • comply with the law or legal process.
In addition, if UGreekRow sells all or a material part of its assets, makes a sale or transfer of all or a material part of its business, or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of its business, UGreekRow may transfer your PII to the party or parties involved in the transaction as a part of that transaction.

Advertiser and Third-Party Links

UGreekRow Services may be linked to Internet Sites operated by other companies. UGreekRow Services may also be carry advertisements from other companies. UGreekRow Services is not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites or other services operated by third parties that are linked or integrated with the UGreekRow Services or for the privacy practices of third party Internet advertising companies. Once you leave the UGreekRow website via such link, access a third party application (such as widgets) or click on an advertisement, you should review the privacy policy of the third party or advertiser site to determine, among other things, how they will handle any PII they collect from you.

Changes to Privacy Policy

Any changes to the Privacy Policy shall be posted on the UGreekRow website. Such changes shall become effective upon posting on the UGreekRow website. Your continued use of the UGreekRow website after UGreekRow posts a revised Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of the privacy policy. Therefore, it is advisable that you review the Privacy Policy on a regular basis.

UGreekRow uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures to safeguard PII and credit card information in its possession against loss, theft, and unauthorized us, disclosure or modification. In addition, UGreekRow uses reasonable methods to make sure that PII is accurate, up-to-date, and appropriately complete.

Correcting and Removing PII

If you are a Member, you can view and correct your Registration PII, Membership Preferences, and Profile Information by logging into your account. If you ask UGreekRow to stop using your PII, UGreekRow will honor that request while retaining any record of your PII that is necessary to comply with applicable federal, state or local law.
